1. Who we are
True Worth Jobs is a spin-off project of True Worth — a trading name of True Worth Consulting Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.
For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, True Worth Consulting Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
2. What data we collect
This website is a curated list of publicly advertised job vacancies. We do not require you to register, sign in, or submit any personal information to browse or use it.
Data is collected only in the following limited ways:
- Server access logs automatically generated by our hosting provider, including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages visited. This is standard for any website and used for security and basic traffic analysis.
- Cookies and similar technologies, only as described in section 8 below.
- Information you voluntarily provide if you contact us via email or any contact form linked from this site.
We do not collect special category data, payment information, or candidate CVs through this website.
3. How we use your data
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Operating, maintaining and securing the website | Legitimate interests |
| Understanding how visitors use the site to improve it | Legitimate interests |
| Responding to enquiries you send us | Legitimate interests / Contractual necessity |
| Complying with legal obligations | Legal obligation |
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties.
4. Who we share data with
We use a small number of trusted third-party providers ("processors") to operate the website:
- Netlify, Inc. — website hosting and content delivery
- GoDaddy.com, LLC — domain hosting and parent website infrastructure
These providers process data on our behalf under written agreements that comply with UK GDPR. We do not share personal data with any other third parties for marketing purposes.
5. International transfers
Some of our processors (notably Netlify) are located outside the UK. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards including the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK–US Data Bridge, or equivalent mechanisms recognised by the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
6. Data retention
- Server access logs are retained by our hosting provider in line with their standard retention period (typically 30 days).
- Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, plus a reasonable period for our records (typically up to 24 months).
- We do not retain any personal data longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this policy.
7. Third-party "Apply" links
The job listings on this website include links to apply on the hiring company's own careers page or on third-party job boards (such as Indeed, LinkedIn, CWJobs, Reed, or company-specific career portals). When you click an Apply link, you leave our website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or data handling of those third-party sites. We strongly recommend you review their privacy policies before applying.
8. Cookies
This website is largely static and uses minimal cookies. The only cookies that may be set are essential cookies set by our hosting provider for site security and load balancing. These cannot be disabled and do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
You can control or delete cookies via your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect site functionality.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to our processing
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@trueworthconsulting.com. We will respond within one calendar month.
